YONNY HERNANDEZ MARKS THE SECOND BEST TIME IN JEREZ IN MOTO2 WHILE TITO RABAT MARKS THE BEST FOURTH TIME IN 125cc
Jerez, 7th March 2010. Yonny Hernández did a fantastic performance in the second day of the Jerez IRTA practice that is taking place from yesterday until Monday. Mashel Al-Naimi has kept improving his times, thus his adaptation to the BQR Honda-Moto2 is being fast and positive. For the time being, this second official practices of the 2010 pre season are happening under adverse weather, with rain and low temperatures, and with a track in a difficult condition for both dry and wet. Despite of that, the Colombian rider of the team Blusens-STX was capable of marking the second best time in the afternoon race (1’45.528), just 0.504 away from the first one, Toni Elías. Yonny showed with his excellent performance on the BQR Honda-Moto2 that the prototype of the team from Cardedeu (Barcelona), the second fastest with 150.9Km/h of top speed, has a great potential, just like Yonny himself, to make a magnificent season in this new class of the world championship.
In 125cc, Tito Rabat was one of the best riders of the day. He marked the fourth best time of the afternoon. The Catalan was between the 10 best riders in every session and in the last one he could make it to the top five, being 2 seconds (1’49.6) behind the first one.
It has definitely been a positive day for the riders of Blusens-STX. Now we will have to wait and see how things go in the two sessions of Monday, which are supposed to enjoy the sun and good conditions the motorbikes need.
