THE RAINNY AND COLD WEATHER STOPS BLUSENS-STX RIDERS FROM PRACTICING AS MUCH AS THEY WANTED IN THE FIRST IRTA SESSION IN JEREZ

Jerez, 8th March 2010. The third day of IRTA official practice celebrated in Jerez during the last three days has been interrupted due to bad weather. The rain has made it impossible for Blusens-STX riders to try out their motorbikes as much as they wished. Actually, Qatari rider Mashel Al-Naimi did not practice in any of the two sessions today, nor in the combined Moto2/125, or in the Moto2 exclusive one. Yonny Hernández only participated in the combined session, marking the ninth best time (1’57.781) and spending the whole race in the top ten.
On the other hand, Tito Rabat has been the fifth best rider of the combined session, but number one of the 125cc class (1’57.347). The Catalan rider, who did very few laps on Saturday because of the bad weather, was yesterday one of the most brilliant riders of the class making the best fourth time of the afternoon.
To sum up, the three riders of Blusens-STX have showed these days that they are in a very good shape, and so are the bikes. Nevertheless, they must keep working before the World Championship starts. In order to do that, the whole team will wait until the next IRTA practice that will take place at the end of March in the Circuit of Jerez, the last practice before the GP World Championship starts the 11th of April in Qatar.
